The goal of our orthodontic team is to efficiently deliver the most beautiful, healthy smiles possible in a fun, caring, family-orientated atmosphere. We do everything possible to maintain this ideal.
Treatment Fees
Today, Drs. Vogt and Ellerhorst have provided you with an estimate for the proposed orthodontic treatment. An exact fee will be set after the doctors have had a chance to thoroughly evaluate the diagnostic records pertaining to your case. The fee given at the consultation appointments covers all aspects of the treatment performed in our office, except for lost or broken removable appliances (like retainers). The fee quoted at this appointment is accurate for 6 months. Procedures done in other offices (i.e. Cleanings, Extractions, X-rays, Restorations, etc.) are not included. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card for the full fee or individual payments. Of course, personal checks and cash are also accepted.
Our treatment coordinators would be happy to discuss any of the following options for payment:
- Initial payment of 25% and equal payments over the proposed active treatment time. (This is the typical plan chosen.)
- You may deduct 5% of the treatment fee if you choose to pay in full on the day treatment begins.
- We are always willing to try to make special arrangements; if nothing seems to work, please speak with a treatment coordinator to find a plan that best suits your needs.
Orthodontic Insurance
Insurance Companies
Most insurance companies only pay a portion of the orthodontic fee. There are countless agreements between insurance companies and employers, and each contract provides a different benefit. We will make a payment schedule with you to pay the orthodontic fee, and you can claim your benefit directly from your insurance carrier. We will submit the insurance claims for each patient.
Employers
Many employers offer individual flex spending accounts. Please check with your human resources department for information on how your particular plan works. Our treatment coordinators would be happy to help you with any questions pertaining to this matter. |
